Thanks for visiting my cyberhome.
Feel free to wander around and check it out.

Spring has really come to Maine and the foothills of the White Mountains.
Birds sing me awake in the morning. The sap is finished running,

but it wasn't a great year. I ended up with not much more than a half pint.

In the past couple of weeks, we've had a few of 70+ days, and I've planted beets
and peas in my deck "window" boxes

and pansies are ready to be planted.

This past winter I lost my 9-pound fierce protector, Jake.
Sassie (my Yorkie) has missed him and the house has been quiet since he's been gone. Soon, though, Mishka Bodhi Nabu (the Little Bear of Enlightened Writing) will join us and the house will be full of puppy shenanigans again.

Spring is also a time for new stories to begin sprouting. I am starting work on Aerial's story, the mother of the heroine, Wynter, in Ghost of a Chance. She's a full-blown psychic with an old mystery to solve and a second chance at love. On a bragging note, Ghost of a Chance won first place in the 2010 Reader's Choice and here's me with the bean pot I won.

Also, Meltdown and Merrie's Christmas is available from Whispers Publishing, written by my spicy alter-ego, Pepper Goodrich. (You can find her at PepperGoodrich.com)

I hope you enjoy your Spring wherever you are.
